N.S.W. – RDI® Program Consultant in Training

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

I am a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with a special interest in supporting communication of children of all ages and abilities.

Since graduating from the University of Sydney, I have worked in private clinical practice, both in Sydney and Singapore. I have really enjoyed working with clients from many different cultural backgrounds, and have come to value the relationship and collaboration I form with my clients and their families. It is this collaboration with families that drew me to the RDI approach, and I really enjoy seeing how much more of a difference I can make with this inclusive approach. Apart from my work with families, I serve as a supervisor and professional mentor to student and newly graduated Speech Pathologists, both in Sydney and Singapore. I am very passionate about working with other professionals to better understand how considering development and emotions can inform our professional practice. This work also helps me to stay sharp and focused, and to benefit from the fresh perspective that new clinicians bring to the table!

My clinical work has led me to believe that therapy should work to unlocking a child’s potential, and include the family in all steps of the process. I am currently undergoing RDI certification training, as this approach taps into both of these aspects I fundamentally value in treatment.
